Emergency Department of Pushpawati Singhania Hospital & Research Institute The emergency Department of Pushpawati Singhania Hospital & Research Institute is available 24*7 a year for patient care. In line with broader focus on patient care, Department of Emergency is better equipped, better managed by experienced and competent Emergency Physician, who are backed by renowned physicians for advanced Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Medical & Surgical Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Transplant Units and Critical Care. Emergency Department has monitored beds with Ventilator facility having special segment dedicated for critically ill patients.
As soon as patient arrives in the Emergency, ER Nurse and the ER Physician triage the patient i.e. assess the condition and the patient who is in most serious condition is given priority and attended first. Emergency Department is supported by round the clock laboratory services, 24 hours Blood Bank facilities and fully function Radiology Unit, which is very near to ER and is equipped with most advanced MRI and CT scan machines apart from routine X-Rays and USG.
There is a dedicated Plaster Room for Orthopaedics and a dedicated area for wound care. For the ease and convenience of patients and relatives, Admission Desk, Reception, Help Desk and Billing Desk have been provided on the same floor as Emergency Department. We also have well equipped advanced Life Support ambulances for the transportation of patients to and fro from the hospital.

Coronary care unit of PSRI heart institute is a state of the art cardiac intensive care facility which can cater to the needs of sick and critical cardiac patients, including those on mechanical ventilator and life support systems. The unit comprises of super specialist doctors and specialist nurses trained in cardiac critical care and the infrastructure has facilities ranging from invasive hemodynamic monitoring to handling advanced mechanical circulatory support systems like IABP and ECMO. Our facility is equipped to manage patients of coronary artery disease, complex arrhythmia, advanced heart failure and, other subspecialties of cardiac sciences.

All our Intensive Care Units, High Dependency Units and Post-Operative Recovery rooms are well-equipped and closely supervised with stringent infection control and isolation protocols.
ICU’s team includes cardiologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, internal medicine physicians, nurses, and technicians trained in intensive cardiac care to centralize the treatment of patients recovering from critical ailments. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The beds are fully motorised with anti-bed sore technology. It is also equipped with advance technologies like advance haemodynamic, ICP, IAP monitors, advanced ventilators for invasive and non-invasive artificial respiration, crash cart with defibrillators, and round-the-clock bedside ultrasonography (FAST), transthoracic echo, and trans-esophageal echo (TEE).
